Hi Kathy,
(Yes, Liz is right, or Elizabeth, but Liz is easier)
WOW - 93 pounds! That's fantastic! The one Leslie Sansone DVD that I own (after trying several from Netflix) is the "3 mile walking for weight loss" one. Three of the other walkers in it are larger, and it notes that one has lost 70 pounds, and two of them lost 100 pounds, by walking (or doing these "walks" with Leslie). As for Debra's workouts, I guess the best thing to do is just keep practicing, and it will come to you much easier. When I first got the step DVD, I thought it would take me forever to learn some of the moves (the "L-Shape" was just too confusing!) - and I am so uncoordinated anyway. But I just kept doing it over and over and over, and now it's so easy I can just do it without thinking, and it's so much more FUN when you really get it and can do it without having to concentrate, and can just go with the music. Like dancing without stumbling! On the step DVD she does have a "tutorial" and explains every step move slowly. But on the other DVDs, you just have to jump right into it, but believe me, you will get it with practice. Kind of like playing a musical instrument - it's always choppy at first, but after practice, it just flows.

PS - Kathy,
Debra says she needs to have her password reset so she can get onto the community forum, but that she will get on it and connect with you early next week!

Good morning and guess what!!! I did my usual walking this morning and then I decided to get out one of my Debra dvds - Fit and Fabulous - and I watched it all the way through. I truly believe that I CAN do it, after all! I will attempt it tomorrow morning. Also, I love the ab workout that's on there. I think I can do those moves. I have been wishing for an ab workout that I could actually manage and this one, being standing, may be the one! I have a problem with getting on the floor and doing the bicycles, crunches, etc., so this looks very promising! I've had this dvd for quite a while, but I let the few minutes that I watched before convince me that I could never master some of it......."Oh ye of little faith"!!

I'll come back and let you know how I did.

Hi, Debra, and thanks for the welcome. :D

Liz, I did the whole workout this morning and I was able to get most of the steps!! It took a few tries on some of them, but, you're right, they're so much fun!

Hey - if you're feeling great, you're moving around more easily, and your clothes are looser, then who needs a scale.
Keep it up - What you're doing is working!

Hi, I'm Patricia. I just started using Debra's DVD's. They're great! All other DVD's I've bought don't give me the workout that Debra's do. :D

Hi everyone!

I live in northeastern PA so I have never been to Debra's Studio either, but I have just started doing her workouts on dvd!
I really enjoy the workouts, the step one is really fun!
Hope to lose about 50 lbs and firm up while workingout with all of you!
Just wanted to say hi, and introduce myself! :D
