Hi Debra,
It is great to know someone has made it out of this large body! And also is encouraging others that they can make it too.Being Healthy is the #1 reason that I am interest in ‘curvy girl’. The #2 reason is I want to look better and give myself the respect that no one else can give me. #3 is I know being ‘big’ is not being ‘better’.
I live in Dallas, NC. We need you here to help the ‘big’ girl get started with ‘curvygirl workouts. Please help me, I am tired of being tired and feeling worned out each day of my life. I need to do better for myself. I am impress with what I have read about ‘curvy-girl’. I understand it is hard work, but you have other females supporting each other. It is medicine for ‘large’ women. Hopefully it will be ‘medicine’ for us (big) here too. The DVD’s are great! But I need live classes with live people.
I pray this email this into Debra hands so she will know that there are women like myself who appreciate her.

I just want to say that at aage 17 I could not run or barley walk around my high school which was about about a city block wide. Now at age 46 I am preparing to do the 10mile Broad Street Run. I will likely walk most of it but part of me believes I can run some of it and that is because of the encouragement I get in the Curvy Girl Classes. I have been in gyms for years and I have lost weight but always the person or persons talking to me were people who never had a weight problem ,never had any real significant amount of weight to lose and would expect you to do the moves and exactly and perfectly and you would feel like a failure if you did not. Well I no longer have that problem as I am encouraged to do the best I can -just move! I challanged myself on 3/15/08 by running 2 of the 6 miles I walked. I plan to keep on training after the walk. When in Deb’s classs you forget about your weight or what others might be thinking because we are all in the same boat and the class is so much fun.The women in it encourage each other and you begin to feel like “Yes I Can!”
