Debra I enjoyed the podcast,but I think she asked a trick question when she asked about Mo’nique. I love her and have followed her for years. Mo’nique encourages women to be comfortable in their own skin. I heard her on the Pattie Labelle show actually saying that she does workout and is healthy and she’s just satisfied with the way she is, but if your not then change it.You both actually preach the same thing that Hollywood is not the real world and every woman can’t be a size zero. What I get from Mo’nique is that if you are a curvy girl be healthy and fabulous that’s why at the BET Awards she did the Beyonce dance to show the world that curvy girls could do the same as thinner woman. Just like the curvy girl challenge you know we can do the same as the thinner women or atleast finish. But again I love you and the interview. great job!

I think the big difference between what Mo’nique says and what Debra says is that Debra says that FITNESS comes in all sizes. It’s a key difference because I think there are people who use Mo’nique’s message about being comfortable at any size as an excuse to not excercise. They hide behind it.

Debra, on the other hand, encourages people at all sizes to get up and get moving. Debra is not trying make people into a size zero. In fact, many size zero people are very unfit. While many size 14s are in great shape!

Debra preaches a message of fitness and healthy eating habits for all.
